- Why would I need to hire an independent college counselor?
Public high school counselors typically work with 400-450+ students each year. How much attention does your student receive? At Polaris College Prep, your student is not just a number.
- How do you keep up with new trends and academic changes? How often do you get out and visit college campuses and meet admissions representatives?
The only way to keep up with current trends and changes in college admissions is by visiting schools regularly. Your Polaris college guide has visited over 40 college campuses (click here to see the list). Our goal is to visit 20 college campuses this year. How many colleges has your student's counselor personally visited?
- How much would it cost to hire an independent college counselor?
- Prices vary depending on your student's grade level. Partnering with Polaris costs about as much as your cable bill, or your daily cappuccino. Contact us to schedule a meeting to discuss your student's goals.

No. Middle school is the perfect time to contact Polaris. The planning for high school begins before high school. High school courses can be taken in middle school. Also, there are numerous summer programs available for students to explore their interests.
